Eastham Garden is a volunteer-maintained public garden located at the Eastham Road roundabout. It was created by the Bettystown Tidy Towns group as part of their efforts to improve the appearance and biodiversity of the village. The garden contains seasonal flowers and pollinator-friendly planting, helps brighten one of the main entrances to Bettystown, and is maintained entirely by local volunteers.

The raised bed on the Eastham Road side of the garden provides food and shelter in early spring for pollinators with a variety of spring flowers, such as snowdrops, crocus, anemones and chrysanthus. On the Narroways Road side of the garden there is a raised bed of hebes and French marigolds that are grown from seeds harvested the previous year and propagated by the Bettystown Tidy Towns volunteers.

The garden has been enhanced with a wall-mounted display case containing hand-painted rocks created by the local community art group East Coast Rocks. The project is intended to add colour and creativity to the garden while showcasing local artistic talent.
Restored Bicycle
Restored Bicycle
The bicycle at Eastham Garden was donated by a local resident and is part of Bettystown Tidy Towns’ bicycle restoration project. After being restored by volunteers, the bicycle was displayed and decorated with colourful flowers to add character and brighten the public space.
