From commissioned sculptures and vibrant murals to pollinator gardens, tree planting, and native hedgerows, Bettystown Tidy Towns (BTT) works to keep our coastal village beautiful, vibrant, and sustainable. Our work goes far beyond everyday maintenance.
Deeply committed to biodiversity and environmental stewardship, BTT aligns its initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) for 2030 and plays a key role in securing Blue Flag and Green Coast awards for Bettystown Beach. Through active collaboration with local businesses, schools, developers, and volunteers, we lead wide-ranging community projects, including rainwater harvesting, seed saving, solar energy promotion via our Sustainable Energy Community, and hands-on coastal education classes.
Explore some of our projects and initiatives below to see how we are building a greener, cleaner Bettystown together.
