We are a friendly group of neighbours working together to look after our lovely town.
From buzzing biodiversity projects to our regular clean-ups, we’re all about making Bettystown a cleaner, greener, and brighter place to live. We’d love for you to join our team!
We meet every Saturday morning between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM (equipment provided). Reach out via bettystowntidytowns@gmail.com.

We gather every Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. for our volunteering sessions.
To participate, all you need to do is come along to the village square (at the Boy Flying a Kite statue) at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday. Our volunteers will be happy to explain what tasks need to be done and how you can help.
You don’t need to have any experience to be part of our group. We learn together as we go! Everyone is welcome, though children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
We do a wide variety of jobs. The most common ones are litter picking, tidying up the village and the picnic area at the beach, painting walls, gardening, planting and harvesting vegetables, grass mowing, and hedge cutting.
Certain tools and specialized equipment are strictly restricted to members who have completed the necessary safety training or are working under direct, experienced supervision.
While we would appreciate it if you can stay for the full two hour shift on a Saturday morning, it is not mandatory. Join us and help out when you can.
